Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Prov 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
I was diagnosed with MS. It puts your life into perspective it makes you thankful for the life you had before. I retired from the Army. I had the chance to travel the world. I have 2 wonderful kids and a wife who is amazing. I will never stop pushing forward. I will continue my ministry and reaching out to Veterans and those affected by PTSD. My prayer life has become more powerful than ever. If you find yourself in a situation where you have lost your "normal" way of life it is not the end. Make it the best you can. Surrounding yourself with friends and family. Find a new goal and make it the best you can.
Everyday that you wake up and take a breath you can definitely be thankful. No matter what problems and adversity you maybe faced with. God has taken total control of your life. I have always taken life for granted but coming to Christ has made me aware of the fact that each day is a blessing all its own.
God spends your life seeking you out. When was the last time you spent time seeking out God.... Food for thought.
